FHP Service Center
The FHP Service Center is responsible for the management of the FHP contract with AHCA. The services include both Administrative and Clinical Departmental functions.
The Administrative services are lead by the FHP President. These services encompass MIS, Outreach and Provider Services, Finance, HR, and Systems Integration. A Director heads each of the departments and its staff.
The Clinical services are lead by the Medical Director and include Quality Improvement / Risk Management and Clinical Operations. A Director also heads up these two Departments and their staff. All the Directors are part of the management team that meets weekly with the Medical Director and FHP President to address the management issues of FHP.
The FHP President, Medical Director and Department Directors are also the leaders of the substantive FHP Committees and Task Forces which are designated to investigate, develop, and oversee the policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines under which FHP operates. With the full participation of the FHP providers, this partnering relationship allows for the inclusion of national and local expertise in the oversight of the care rendered to Prepaid Mental Health Plan members.
