Your Mental Health Services
As an FHP member, certain mental health services are required. They must be there when you need them. These include emergency services. They also include post-stabilization services. These services may include:
- Inpatient hospital care for psychiatric conditions
- Outpatient hospital care for psychiatric conditions
- Psychiatric physician services
- Community mental health services
- Mental health targeted case management
- Mental health intensive targeted case management
- Psychosocial rehabilitation services
- Clubhouse services
- Therapeutic behavioral on-site services
- Self-help/peer services
- Crisis intervention mental health services and post-stabilization care services
Other Services
Your FHP provider may also offer other services. They may discuss these services with you when you are planning your care. These services include crisis stabilization, partial hospital, overlay, drop-in centers, supported employment and supported housing.
Services that are NOT included in the Plan:
- Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care (However, in Area 6 the members are still enrolled in the plan for those services not covered under the STFC per diem such as inpatient services)
- Children’s Residential Treatment
- Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program (SIPP) or Therapeutic Group Care Services (TGCS)
- Transportation
- Medical/Surgical Interventions associated with a psychiatric problem
- Florida Assertive Community Treatment Services (FACT)
- Substance Abuse Treatment Services
- Prescribed Drug Services
