- Founded in 1955, Manatee Glens helps families in crisis with mental health and addiction services and is one of the area's largest not-for-profit hospital and outpatient practice. Manatee Glens offers inpatient, detox, residential, counseling, addictions and psychiatric care for children, teens, adults and elders at seven locations. Annually, Manatee Glens serves over 10,000 individuals of all ages. Manatee Glens is licensed by the State of Florida and accredited by the Joint Commission.
