History
Northside Mental Health Center, a non-profit community mental health center, has provided care to individuals in the community since 1976. Northside Mental Health Center offers innovative and high quality mental health services, including several that have received national recognition for high standards and effectiveness. Northside is dedicated to providing the best mental health services in the community, and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of HealthCare Organizations (JCAHO).
Mission
The mission of Northside Mental Health Center is to provide affordable, high quality mental health services for the citizens of Hillsborough County in order to improve the quality of life and to prevent or minimize the need for long-term hospitalization with a first priority given to these persons most in need regardless of ability to pay.
