History
Behavioral Health Division (BHD) is a department of Winter Haven Hospital, Inc., which is incorporated as a private non-profit general hospital. BHD has provided a continuum of services which include partial hospitalization, emergency/crisis services, day treatment, inpatient services, outpatient services, consultation and liaison, case management and educational services since 1967. Winter Haven Hospital is accredited by the JCAHO.
Mission
The mission of Winter Haven Hospital, Inc., Behavioral Health Division is to improve the health of the communities we serve by providing high quality, cost-effective care and services. The Behavioral Health Division focuses on wellness and prevention as well as assessment, intervention and treatment.
